First Environment is a UKAS accredited Inspection body.  The scope of activities includes for undertaking Asbestos Management Surveys, Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys and Legionella Risk Assessments.

History

Established in 1996 the company provided services in water management, Legionella control and indoor air quality.

Our mission statement has remained central to our aim from the start:

Our service portfolio expanded in 2010 through the acquisition of Amencon Limited to include expertise in asbestos management, asbestos surveying and occupational hygiene services.

We have successfully completed a number of research projects for UK and USA organisations furthering knowledge into building related risks and control issues.

First Environment’s head office is located in Cannock Chase on the site of the former West Cannock No. 5 coal mine. Our Southern area office in Aldermaston, Berkshire provides local support to London and Home Counties.
